Welcome to Jewels Photography StL; I am so happy you’re here!
I discovered my passion for the arts when I took my first photography class in 2006. I began dabbling in professional photography in 2011, and through a LOT of hard work and dedication have been blessed to become a full-time photographer as of February 2023! I have been a photographer at countless weddings, senior sessions, family portraits, styled photoshoots, graduations, surprise parties, engagements… the list goes on, and it's safe to say that I haven't been able to live without a camera (and I wouldn't want to). Making people feel the depth of love and joy through images is my life’s greatest gift. It’s truly an honor to capture such special moments in my client’s lives. I often leave sessions giddy to edit because I just CANNOT WAIT to show you how beautiful you are!
My goal in each session is to bring out candid personality. If a single photograph is worth a thousand words, I want those words to speak of life, laughter, love, beauty, and most importantly: YOU!
Ready for take off
I absolutely LOVE to travel. I’ve been backpacking in four southern African countries, Ecuador and have visited almost all 50 states with more travel plans in the near future. And, if you have an out of town life event which you’d like captured, please consider messaging me! I’d love to coordinate.
Family
Wife, mom and professional aunt are just a few other titles that I wear. Being a mom and aunt is the most fun and rewarding experience life has offered me so far. The love for my son, nieces and nephews are where I draw inspiration. Additionally, I have over 10 years of experience working with kids so I understand how to get the candid shots parents love to see! I come fully equipped with silly faces and jokes to get them laughing.
A few of my favorite things:
-Sunflowers, sunglasses, and iced coffee in summer
-Blues Hockey and piping hot, black coffee in winter
-Red Wine after a long day
-Live Music with good friends on a weekend
-Any holiday for which I can wear festive makeup
-Making people laugh any day and any time of the year
